The hinge bushing adapter presses on to a 1941-53 tailgate hinge so that it can be used with the 1940 tailgate and bed sides. Original 1940 hinges are larger than 1941-1953 hinges and are not available. Material is nylon. It is 1-25/32" long X 1-19/32 diameter. The hinge is not included, and is available separately. Made in Oklahoma City, USA.
