The pre-drilled bed mounting blocks are used as spacers between the cross sills and the frame and also between the bed wood and the frame at the rear sill. Bed mounting pads are rectangular neoprene pads used in many truck beds for padding between the mounting blocks and the frame. The larger blocks are bolted to the rear cross sill (bolts included) and take the place of the rear cross sill bracket.
