Like a cross sill, this steel piece is placed crosswise under the bed floor for support and is welded to the steel floor. Reinforcement strips are shorter in height and they "reinforce" the bed, but they do not attach to the frame. This reinforcement strip is made with holes for installation and is meant only for Steel Floor trucks. Made in Oklahoma City, USA.
